# Page Builder

## General

WebTend themes use [The World's Leading WordPress Website Builder: Elementor](https://elementor.com/). If you're just getting started with Elementor, it's strongly recommended you go through their knowledgebase: <https://elementor.com/getting-started/>
Important notes about Elementor Page Builder:

1. once you start building your content in Elementor, you can't switch to another builder; while plain text will still be accessible, elements & their corresponding styling will be lost when disabling Elementor.
2. WebTend themes are built for Elementor exclusively, so if you plan on using a different builder, this theme might not be suited for you.
3. Elementor Pro can be a powerful tool for any web developer, however, IT'S NOT REQUIRED to use the theme; all theme features and elements use Elementor Free

The page editor uses elements from Elementor Free, Theme Toolkit Plugin - a toolkit plugin that's been thoroughly tested and validated by us, and some proprietary elements. Combined, there are a lot of Page Builder Elements you can use in Elementor
